Al-Madina: Journal of Islamic Law is committed to guaranteeing the long-term preservation, integrity and accessibility of the scholarly record. This page explains how the journal preserves published content and how readers, authors and institutions can access archived material.
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) are open-source initiatives that ensure long-term digital preservation and accessibility of scholarly content, even in the event that the journal is no longer published or the website becomes unavailable.
The metadata of all published articles are also indexed and stored in various academic repositories to guarantee continued access and citation.
