Plagiarism Policy

Al-Madina: Journal of Islamic Law has a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for originality using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) before being sent for peer review.

Manuscripts containing plagiarism—including copying text, ideas, figures, or data without proper citation—will be immediately rejected. The acceptable similarity index threshold is below 25%, excluding references, quotations, and formulaic expressions.

If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article will be retracted from the journal’s archive, and appropriate notice will be issued.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are original and properly cite all sources used.
